Music-State Queen Pageant-Vendors-State Kolacky Baking Contest-Ethnic Food-Squeeze Box Jamboree, Antique Farm Equipment and Fun-Fun-Fun

                   

                Friday, June 20,

                        * Lidice Memorial Service at Phillips High School at 7:00 p.m. 

                            **Guest speaker: Henry Golde, Holocaust survivor, Appleton Wisconsin

                            **Susan Thums presents "A living History"

                             * Meister's Bar and Grill: Live music and beer tasting in the Old World Beer Garden- 7-10 pm

 

                Saturday, June 21 -Festival opens at PHS at 9:00 a.m.

                        * Arts/crafts/vendors, live music, children's activities, contests

                        * Buy Kolacky by the dozens at the bakery booth or one with coffee at the hospitality table

                        * Czech/Slovak cuisine

                        * State Kolacky Home-Made Baking Contest

                        * Outdoor Display of Old Restored Farm Equipment and Tractors

                        * Kids Corner (youth activities)

                        * Miss Czech-Slovak Wisconsin State Queen Pageant

                        * Entertainment for All

                        * Queen's Dinner, at Club 13 (5:45 pm)

                        * Squeeze Box Jamboree (7:30 p.m.-11 p.m.), Phillips High School

 

               Sunday, June 22 - Festival opens at PHS at 10 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m.

                         * Polka Service at St John Lutheran Church (9:30  a.m.) Osacho Sisters

                         * Live Entertainment

                            ** George Dums (Mr. Concertina)

                            ** Czech-Us-Out-Combo

                            ** Moja Vlast Folklorny Subor Dance Group (Milwaukee)

                         * Traditional Pork n' sauerkraut dinner (11am until it is gone)

                         * Queen's Pageant and Crowning of 2008-9 Queen

                         * Winner of State Kolacky contest announced
